After seeing nearly 15 different Huracans so far I think it looks absolutely amazing; and its still a wild animal. I mean how is a Lambo that does 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and that has an !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! soft!!?

I thought the review was fair, but I was confused by the bit that went "oh this car is one of the top 5 ever to go around the track and faster than the Aventador but that's not important on to the next thing."

Too expensive. They need to release the new R8 soon haha
And anyway, what's wrong with the softer suspension? Nothing wrong with a cheaper base model with a softer suspension, especially given the way most of them are (never) driven. McLaren is making a big mistake by not selling the 625c over here.

I'm right there with them on this one. It's too boring looking, and all modern supercars are too fast for public roads anyway, so being marginally quicker or slower really makes no difference.

Except for Ferrari they never make a big deal about it. When the 12C went round 3 seconds faster than all its rivals there were some applause and then the news.
Speaking of which have they got a new Stig? The lap seemed a lot more clean (boring) than past efforts plus he looks thinner alot thinner.

2.5?
I'm pretty sure it does it in 3.2.

Why do Lambo themselves state 3.2?
Why do all the other mags say 3.2?
And why does it keep losing drag races?
I don't know what to believe anymore.
I'm gonna have to wait until this year's Motortrend ultimate drag race thing before I get any closure.

A lot of magazines go off of what the manufacturer quotes as the 0-60 time. Most, if not all, automotive manufacturers are always conservative with their 0-60 times because they don't want to falsely advertise their product's capabilities under normal conditions.
Conditions must be ideal for a car to reach it fastest 0-60 times..

I still prefer the look of the Gallardo better, but that's a matter of personal taste. My favorite Lambo will always be the Sesto Elemento.

From other reviews it seems pretty spot on. IIRC Autocar even said the front track is wider than the rear, the thing is set up to understeer.
BUT we all know there will 20 versions before its done, so maybe having a softer base model isn't such a bad thing.

Yeah I always hear about this car's understeer problems; but then the performance is quiet high so I feel one would only encounter this problem on a track or while seriously breaking the law on the public road..

This review really exposed the presenters' age. Clarkson and Co have always had trouble getting over outdated stereotypes. They still think German cars are reliable, American cars can't handle, Italian cars are explosive, British cars exist, etc.
Nearly every automotive stereotype from their early careers is now untrue. Hyundai has gone from making disposable econoboxes to making class-leading economy/luxury cars. GM has gone from making complete garbage to making globally competitive performance cars and luxury cars. Lamborghini, meanwhile, has gone from making ridiculous design studies to making purpose-built track weapons.
They need to just accept that the modern Lamborghini is a different company to the one they grew up with, and has a different target market.
If you're looking for flamboyant, look to Pagani.

Does it matter, though? I've never personally seen a Lamborghini on a track, only in showrooms, storage, or driven by over-rich douchebag with a compensation problem. The wealthy folks who seem to want the best of street and track are getting Ferraris, McLarens, Porsches, and the odd Pagani. A few others here and there, of course, but those are the main brands as far as I can tell. Lamborghini is easily making the best cars it can (thanks to VAG's deep pockets) and has yet made given the capabilities of the time (I'm not saying the Miura or Diablo aren't impressive and desirable, they just don't have the overall completeness and quality of the current cars, though that's charming in its own way).
